Unless explicitly written, you can use the design you are creating with CoaMaker only for non-commercial purposes. Commercial use is allowed with the “Advanced Pro” and the “Lifetime Pro” plans.
The copyright of all elements remains with the owner of CoaMaker.com. With your license, you can use your designs for the allowed purposes, but you cannot publish designs as “public domain”.
Allowed With a Non-Commercial License #
- Publishing on Social Media (Instagram, Reddit, Facebook, etc.)
- Publishing in Fan Wikis
- Publishing on your non-commercial website
- Printing t-shirts, images, etc. for private use (not sold Or offered for sale) for family and friends
- Using designs for non-profit school Or university organizations (e.g. fraternities, choirs) that have no employees and do not generate income for anyone
Not Allowed With a Non-Commercial License #
- Offering designs for sale
- Selling designs
- Using elements Or designs in any product Or service you sell
- Using elements Or designs in any product Or service you offer for sale
- Publishing a design on a website that earns money via ads
- Offering your designs as a free bonus to another product you sell Or offer (e.g. books)
- Using your design as a logo Or illustration for a company
- Using your design for any institution that has employees Or generates income for anyone
- Using your design for selling products during a fundraising
- Uploading elements Or designs to AI applications
Allowed with an Advanced License #
- Commissions for coats of arms, family crests, fantasy artwork
- Using designs as illustrations in books (print Or digital)
- Using designs in tabletop games
- Using designs for tattoos
- Using designs NFTs
- Using designs for physical products like shields, shirts, flags
- Using your design as a logo Or illustration for a company Or other institution
- Offering your designs as a free bonus to another product you sell Or offer (e.g. books)
- Publishing a design on a website that earns money via ads
Not Allowed with an Advanced License #
- Selling Or offering elements of CoaMaker as a bundle (e.g. as a set on Etsy)
- Selling Or offering source files
- Selling Or offering access to your CoaMaker account
- Publishing designs as “public domain”
- Uploading elements Or designs to AI applications
What Happens After My Advanced Plan has ended? #
If you have canceled your Commercial Plan, you can still use all the designs for commercial use that you had previously registered for commercial use. However, you cannot register any new designs for commercial use.
