Codex 181:R (Mooryn). Originally the arms of the counts of Coroth. The original (Latin) name of Coroth was Caurus, which was a settlement in the Byzantyun Empire situated on the northwest coast of the Southern Sea. Caurus (or Corus) was an ancient Roman god associated with the northwest wind, whose symbol was a jar or vase from which he poured storms and freezing rain.
