We have 13 new symbols in our library! Several of them have been on the wishlist in our Vote for Features for a while: the flames, cloud with lightning bolt (storm), the anvil, and feet.The lotus(es), the fig leaf, and the elephant shall add more cultural variety and enable more fantastic designs.
Over the last weeks, I have been work hard behind the scenes to make CoaMaker and Flag Creator easier to use for you and easier to update for myself. The layout should be much better now, especially on mobile. Changing the default color family has been on my list for a very long time. Now it is here: In CoaMaker, you can set a default color family in the Color Panel and it will change the colors of all symbols that you add to the canvas afterwards. It will overwrite the default palette, too, so that you can stick to the chosen color family easily. Our Random Arms Generator ("AI") uses your chosen color family, too. Let me know which further color families you would like to see in CoaMaker. And which ones you want for Flag Creator. The color families will come to Flag Creator as well.
The Kickstarter Campaign for the boardgame "Avalon: The Riven Veil" has sponsored new symbols for CoaMaker! The symbols are from the Arthurian legends and include the Grail, the White Stag, Celtic knots, and of course Excalibur. The symbols can be used by all users (free and pro).
You can now split symbols in half horizontally or vertically. Just click on the black square right to the Search input and select how to crop the next elements you click on.
In addition, we have added the following symbols to our library: tyrannosaurs rex, t-rex head, plesiosaur, pterodactyl, triceratops, tortoise, tortoise shell, and wheat wreath.
We have added twelve new symbols (mostly botanical) to our library. The symbols had been suggested by archaeopteryxy, ChrisOrban, DontFeedTheDeer, Ginhoven, and 1991benn. Thank you for the suggestions and your voting!
