New Symbols

Many users have upvoted non-European symbols in our Feature Voting. Here are seven new symbols for creating heraldry for other regions: onion hat, turban helmet (2 x), Indian turban, Arab sabre, cow shield, turban.

You find twelve new crown symbols in our heraldry generator. Six of them are completely new, the other six are variations of existing crowns that give you more options by adding or removing the cap of the crown.

CoaMaker now has ten more flags! We have added flags with crosses like Nordic flags and the UK. And we have added flags with diagonal stripes, like Trinidad and Tobago. We have expanded our library of heraldry charges. New are: an elephant head, a dog head, an eagle head, a rabbit, and a squirrel.

We have a new type of shield: Shields that display a charge. I started by adding a mountain, a mountain range, and a crown. Let me know which other symbols you would like to use.

The heraldic traditions vary widely among countries and times. The 16 new escutcheons in the square-like “French” style will give you more options to do it your way in heraldry.

If there is one thing that fans of heraldry cannot have enough of, it is crosses. We have added eight new crosses to our library to give you more options. Three of them are latin. The other ones are bottony, fleury, moline, patoncé, hummetty.
