Lordship of Gráinsallt (Connait)
Pronounced "Grawn-shahlt," the name is formed from Irish gráinseach ("grange") and Welsh alltud (exile, misfit) and is equivalent to "Misfit Grange." The opposing rampant geese and the fox play roles in a founding myth.
