Brandy Singleton (nee Ködel) Armorial Acheivement

The Amorial Achievement of Brandy Ködel, wife to Justin Singleton. The individual arms of Justin and Brandy are combined into one shared coat of arms, representing their union in marriage and the family they create together. The full achievement, unique to Brandy, is done in the style of German Burgher heraldry with a Scottish crest, to honor her father’s Bayerner family, and her mother’s Scottish heritage. Per the traditions of German Burgher heraldry, the arms bear no supporters and is positioned at a slant. Her crest (which can be shared in traditional Scottish heraldary) is the winged spur crest granted for their readiness to aid Robert Bruce and William Wallace in their rebellion against England, to Clan Johnstone, to whom Brandy’s maternal family belonged. Her motto, “Gott Mitt Uns” represents her paternal family, her faith, and her lifelong study of theology and pursuit of knowledge of the holy.
