Prince-Bishopric of Osnabrück

by Sven

The coat of arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Osnabrück. During the medieval ages and early modern history, my hometown was ruled by a bishop who was a prince at the same time. This was the case in large parts of the Holy Roman Empire and what is Germany today. The actual wheel has only six spokes. I like how well the new slim shield shapes suit simple designs like this one.
