In heraldry, “indented” describes divisions and ordinaries with a zickzack line. We have added eight new elements to our shield section for PRO users of our heraldry studio: per pale indented, per fess indented (four variations), per bend indented, bend indented, pale indented. Other line types like wavy, invected, and embattled will follow.
